Great drum kit thats should not say starter as is too goodReview date: 2010-08-31 Rating: 10 out of 10Well I bought this Drum kit for my partner who hasn't played since high school, 16yrs ago. I was a bit dubious as it did say starter but having read previous reviews I was sold. And I'm glad a bought it, it's great & is just as good for beginners as well as intermediate players. I just need to get some new sticks now as he has played it so much the ends have all splintered.

My son is a keen drummer and loves the kit. The only down side to the kit is the construction part of it as it came with no instructions and although thankfully i am very familar with drum kits, personally i think a complete beginner may struggle working out what goes where etc, but after some time would get there in the end - its not impossible, just more difficult without instructions. My 14-yo son and I put it all together without any trouble and he has successfully driven the whole household and probably quite a few neighbours mad for a couple of months now.
